The goal of this blog

This is one of my favorite candid photos from my own wedding. I think it's because we both look so content...or maybe that look of relief on my face is because my husband didn't smash cake on my face. Either way, you want a sense of calm on your big day :)

This is one of my favorite candid photos from my own wedding. I think it's because we both look so content...or maybe that look of relief on my face is because my husband didn't smash cake on my face. Either way, you want a sense of calm on your big day :)

The most common thing I hear at the end of my first meeting with a bride is "Oh I already feel so much calmer now, thank you!" It means the world to me to hear that. I know it can be stressful to sort through the contracts, quotes, and choices on your own. To juggle tradition, your opinions, and everyone else's opinion...it's overwhelming! I totally understand wanting to attempt this on your own. I am the person that sees something at a store and says "oh I can make that" as my husband looks at me with raised eyebrows. I get it...however, when it comes to your wedding you NEED someone in your corner.  You need someone that knows every last detail of your big day and can execute it flawlessly while you relax and enjoy all of the amazing love around you. You need a wedding planner :)

I hope that this blog can be a place where brides can come to feel calm again, to feel empowered with insight, and to have fun with the planning process. DIY brides, you have a special place in my heart. For those trying to navigate the wedding planning process without a wedding planner, my goal of this blog is to share with you whatever I can to make your life easier! Of course many of my posts will also be directed towards floral design since that is a huge part of my business, but who doesn't like flowers?
